The “Mad Men” star has been married to fellow actress Anna Osceola for a year. Now he says that he wants to start a family – and doesn’t mind being “the old father”.
“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm (53) reports on his plans to become a father. His wedding a year ago to fellow actress Anna Osceola (36) was great, the Emmy award winner told the US magazine “The Hollywood Reporter” – “and I hope we have children.” It “hasn’t escaped him that I’m 53”: “I’ll be the old dad, but that’s the way it is. That could be a good thing. We’ll see.”
Hamm and Osceola met while filming the final episode of the drama series “Mad Men” (2007 to 2015). In June of last year they married at the filming location of the finale in Big Sur, California. In “Mad Men”, Hamm played the hard-drinking advertising man and womanizer Don Draper. In recent years he has appeared in other drama series such as “Fargo” and “The Morning Show”.
When he proposed to Osceola, he was panicking, Hamm said. “All I remember thinking was, ‘This is really scary.’ Then I thought, ‘Well, that probably means it’s worth it.'”
