Suri Cruise no longer wants to be called that, she recently dropped her father Tom Cruise’s last name again. He is in the same situation as Brad Pitt.
Brad Pitt (60) recently had to accept that his children with Angelina Jolie (49) no longer want to be called their father. Now it’s also affecting his “Interview with the Vampire” co-star (1994) Tom Cruise (61). His daughter Suri (18) no longer goes by her father’s last name in public.
The daughter of Tom Cruise and fellow actress Katie Holmes (45) just celebrated her graduation from high school. However, the name Suri Cruise does not appear in the list of graduates. Instead, it simply says Suri Noelle. Noelle is her mother’s middle name.
Not for the first time as Suri Noelle
The graduation ceremony is not the first occasion on which Suri Noelle has performed under this name. The stage name already appeared on the cast list of the school’s performance of the musical “Head over Heals”.
Suri Noelle has been estranged from her father for some time. Since her parents separated in 2012, they have reportedly had no contact. Katie Holmes has sole custody of her daughter. Tom Cruise was of course not present at the high school graduation gala. The Hollywood star instead attended a concert by Taylor Swift (34).
Brad Pitt recently experienced a very similar development. His daughter Vivienne (15) also appeared in a stage play without her father’s name, calling herself only Vivienne Jolie. Her older sister Shiloh (18) went a step further. When she came of age, she dropped Pitt from her surname.
It is not known whether Suri Cruise or Noelle, who also just turned 18, also wants to make her name change official.
