“Pirates of the Caribbean” actor: Tamayo Perry dies after shark attack

Dramatic news from Hawaii: Professional surfer and “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor Tamayo Perry has died. According to the report, Perry, who also worked as a lifeguard, died in a shark attack off the island of Oahu in the US state of Hawaii, according to authorities. He was only 49 years old.

In a statement on Perry’s death, the water protection authority Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services spoke of a “universally loved lifeguard” who had an infectious personality and loved people more than anything. The mayor of the town also spoke of a “tragic loss”.
