The German-Spanish pop singer Alvaro Soler (33) and his wife, the model Melanie Kroll, have prepared well for the birth of their first child. “Everything is ready: the hospital bag is ready, we have done a weekly preparation course and I have read two books,” said the musician (“La Cintura”, “Sofia”) to the German Press Agency. “In the end, there is nothing more you can do. The heavily pregnant woman from Potsdam will give birth to the child in Soler’s hometown of Barcelona. The singer is already looking forward to the moment of birth. “Everyone says that it is the best and the worst thing at the same time. But it is different for every baby.” The two married last summer and announced the baby news on social media in March.
In the period of the impending birth, the 33-year-old is releasing his new single “Te Imaginaba” on Friday, which can be seen as a token of love for his wife. Soler plans to take a step back from work in the coming weeks. “First of all, I want to have time for my wife and me, to be there for her.”
