The live action television series one piece of Netflix has cast its first new actors for its upcoming second season, adding versions of four villains from the comic book adaptation.

The Raised by Wolves actor Daniel Lasker will play Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson from Batwoman has been chosen as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn (Warrior) will be Miss Valentine and the star of Late Night With the Devil David Dastmalchian will take on the role of Mr. 3.


These four characters come directly from the pirate adventure manga One Piece, created by Eiichiro Odaand its subsequent adaptation into a long-running anime television series, where they are key members of the Barroco Works crime syndicate.

The first season of one piece from Netflix starred Iñaki Godoy as aspiring pirate king Monkey D. Luffy, alongside Luffy’s Straw Hat crew played by Mackenyu like Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd like Nami, Jacob Romero like Usopp and Taz Skylar like Sanji, who are all reprising their roles for season 2 and will have to compete with the members of Baroque Works.
