Before presenting his new material, the funkiest of the Spinettas plays again in Capital Federal in a show for his friends and fans at the Teatro de Colegiales.

After living one of the most important years in his solo career, Dante Spinetta returns to play in intimate spaces with one goal: to enjoy music with his friends and followers.

As a prelude to what will be their new material, soon to be released, and saying goodbye “Sweet table”the album that marked a milestone in his career and earned him four Gardel Awards and his first Latin Grammy as a soloist in the category of “Best Alternative Music Song” for “The dark side of the Heart”, Dante will be presented on August 9 at the Vorterix Theater and in various parts of the country during July, August and September, which will also include visiting Uruguay and Paraguay.

A tour of Dante’s latest releases

“Mesa dulce” is the album that took him to the top of his career as a soloist, a path marked by talent, experimentation, musical heritage and the personal search to reach the sound he always longed for.

With songs like “Sudaka”, “First Love” and “The Dark Side of the Heart”a song through which Dante won his first Latin Grammy as a soloist for “Best Alternative Song.”

Dressed head to toe in damask, Dante Spinetta also presented Damasco Session 1, a powerful live version of four songs from “Mesa dulce.” The session covers hits like “Rebelión”, “El Lado Oscuro del Corazón”, “La Movie” and “Cruzaremos”. After this successful first part, he presented “Damasco Session 2”, an ideal closing with a second part where he reviewed the best of this last album.
