Martin Mull (1943-2024) is dead. The actor and comedian, known from series such as “Roseanne” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”, died on June 27 at the age of 80. His daughter, Maggie Mull, announced this in an Instagram post on Friday (June 28).
“I am heartbroken to share that my father passed away at home on June 27th after a brave battle with a long illness,” she captioned a black-and-white photo of Mull with a dog. “My father will be greatly missed by his wife and daughter, his friends and co-workers, artists and comedians and musicians, and – a sign of a truly extraordinary person – many, many dogs. I loved him beyond belief.”

Martin Mull began his career as a stand-up comedian and had his first major role in the comedy series “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman”. He gained a foothold as an actor in the 1970s. The incredible Martin Mull (Director Kraft) has left us for his eternal rest. I have such fond memories of working with him.”
She continued: “He was an artist who loved to paint and build with his hands, a musician and a wonderful man […] We will miss him, but this world benefited from his being here. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.” She will continue to cherish “the Martin Mull artwork” that hangs in her home.
