Michael J. Fox’s history with Coldplay

It was not the first time that Fox took to the stage to support the band. In July 2016, he collaborated with Coldplay at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to perform “Johnny B. Goode”the song of Chuck Berry which appears in Back to the Future.

Martin spoke about that special moment during a 2022 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, telling the host that it was especially meaningful because watching Fox character Marty McFly sing the song in the 1985 sci-fi classic changed his life.
