The series star was in front of the camera for the daily soap for eleven years – now he has died unexpectedly at the age of just 39. His partner announced this on . Numerous colleagues are sharing memories and loving words for the deceased online. “My heart is crying. I’m crying and I just can’t stop right now,” writes Pia Tillmann (38) on .
She met Ochsenknecht in 2010 during the filming of “X-Diaries” and started with him on “BTN” a year later. “The best thing about it: We were able to experience it together, live our dream together,” she said of the photos taken together. The duo often sat together on the balcony and philosophized about life. “I couldn’t have wished for a better chaos maker by my side! You will be missed so much!” Tillmann concluded her emotional message.
“A kind-hearted person”
Other former “Berlin – Tag & Nacht” actors remembered their colleague in their Instagram stories. “It hits me so hard! The world knew you as ‘Ole ohne Kohle’, but for me you were Falko! A kind-hearted person who only let very few people get close to his true self,” writes Jenefer Riili (31), who played Alessia on “BTN” until 2015. “It was always so much fun on set with you,” mourns Kim actress Nathalie Bleicher-Woth (27), and Tim Rasch (26) praises Falko Ochsenknecht as “an impressive person and the most fascinating personality.”
For Nina Menke (32), who played the role of Sabrina, Ochsenknecht was “not just a colleague at ‘Berlin – Day & Night’, but a friend.” “He had a great sense of humor, he was always in a good mood. He entertained a lot of people,” she remembers.
Alfio De Benedicts also died recently
One thought, however, offers some consolation to the actors of “Berlin – Day & Night”. “At least the idea that our friend Alfio welcomed you up there is nice, although that is certainly the wrong word for it,” writes Mike actor Filip Nikolic (38). Alfio De Benedictis (1970-2023), who played Fabrizio Di Marco on “BTN” for years and was good friends with Falko Ochsenknecht, died in December 2023. Like Ochsenknecht, he also succumbed to cardiac arrest.
