Whoopi Goldberg has been one of the presenters of “The View” for almost 15 years. Now she has to pause because of a corona infection.
Whoopi Goldberg (66) was infected with the corona virus. Her colleague Joy Behar (79) has it. “Unfortunately, Whoopi tested positive during the break,” said Behar. It is expected that Goldberg could return to the camera in the coming week. Since Goldberg had already received the third vaccination, her symptoms were “very, very mild”.
Goldberg is supposed to shoot “Sister Act 3”
For almost 15 years Goldberg has been leading through “The View” with other colleagues. In Germany, the actress, comedian and presenter is best known for her film and series roles – including classics such as the “Sister Act” series and “Ghost: Message from Sam”.
Goldberg is also expected to appear in a third part of “Sister Act”. At the end of 2020 it was officially confirmed that there would be another film on the Disney + streaming service. How far the work has progressed is currently not known.
