Actress Maren Kroymann will soon be 75 years old. She is happy to have overcome some of the peculiarities that plagued her in her younger years.
The actress and cabaret artist Maren Kroymann does not want to be young again shortly before her 75th birthday. “That would mean that all my insecurities and doubts would be back,” she said in an interview with the magazine “Stern”. “Things that I am glad I have gotten rid of. And I would be underestimated again. The way others perceive me and the way I see myself fit together better as I get older,” says Kroymann.
She does not struggle with getting older, but is actually going through one of the best phases of her life. When asked whether she was worried about the years that still lie ahead, Kroymann explained that she had not yet made a will. “Of course, like everyone else, I am late with some things. I have made a living will. But I don’t know anything about my funeral yet (…) I probably still feel a little too fit to be sensible.” Kroymann, who comes from Walsrode in Lower Saxony and lives in Berlin, has a birthday on July 19.
