Fourth anniversary of Nick Cordero’s death: Wife dedicates touching lines to him

On the fourth anniversary of her husband Nick Cordero’s death, Amanda Kloots remembered the actor with touching lines.

Canadian actor Nick Cordero (1978-2020) died on July 5, 2020 after a long hospital stay from complications resulting from a coronavirus infection. The Broadway star was only 41 years old. On the fourth anniversary of his death, his wife, fitness trainer Amanda Kloots (42), remembers the father of her son Elvis Eduardo (5) on Instagram.

This is how grief changed her

Captioning a clip of various moments together of the couple, who were married from 2017 until Cordero’s death, she wrote: “Remembering Nick Cordero today on the 4th anniversary of his passing. Every time I put together a post like this, I realize how loss hits you in ways you may never recover from.” Of her late husband, she said: “Nick was so funny, happy, full of life and love, so talented and one of the biggest dreamers I knew.”

The grief of the last four years has changed every part of her, Kloots continued. “I have become a new person in every way. It has changed how I love, how I look, how I feel, how I walk, how I think, how I raise my son, how I work.” She has learned a lot about anxiety, depression, fear and stress, the 42-year-old continued. The grief has made her “weaker and stronger at the same time, and I have become more honest, vulnerable and fearless in my life. I have learned how lucky I was to have someone in my life who loves me completely and I love him.” The grief was by far the worst “thing that has ever happened to me, but also the thing that opened my eyes. […] She taught me how to live. How to live my life. I miss you every single day. I will always love you.”

She urges her followers: “If you knew Nick or even followed his fight, post a picture of him on your feed or in your stories today and let’s celebrate his life! Let’s cheer him on! Tell a story about him or why he inspired you. It would help me a lot today if I read every single story.”
