Instead, he chose the 2021 drama Michael Sarnoski “Pig” in which Cage plays a lonely and despondent former acclaimed chef who hunts down the thieves who stole his beloved truffle pig. The film received some of Cage’s best reviews of his career and racked up a 97 percent positive score on Rotten Tomatoes.
