Inspired by the novel Simply Halston by Steven Gaines, the series starring Ewan McGregor travels to the New York in the 60s and 70s, to tell the life of Roy Halston Frowick (born in April 1932 and died in March 1990). How a boy plagued by sadness becomes one of the world’s leading figures in fashion. His friend Liza, who has a key role in the plot, will accompany him for several years.
Played by actress Krysta Rodriguez, Liza in this story serves to reveal the soul of the protagonist: she was, without a doubt, the one who got to know him best. And through that emotional journey, that relationship, we can witness the vulnerability of a sensitive Hollywood character.
