Release date confirmed for “The Conjuring 4”, the latest film in the horror saga

The Conjuring franchise has left a lasting legacy in horror cinema since its debut in 2013.

Warner Bros. confirmed the release date of the last main film in the franchise The spell.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have confirmed that the next Conjuring film will be the last in the franchise. The yet-to-be-released film is scheduled for September 5, 2025 and it will be the last film of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga playing Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Plot details for The Conjuring 4 are not yet known, but David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is writing history. Michael Chavezwho directed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It of 2021 and the Conjuring spin-off of 2023, The Nun IIwill be the director.

The Conjuring Saga

The Conjuring debuted in 2013 with James Wan at the helm. Wan would go on to direct The Conjuring 2 and write and produce several other films in the franchise. The franchise has spawned a total of eight films so far, including three Annabelle spin-off films and two The Nun spin-off films.
