Rapper LL Cool J is back with the song “Saturday Night Special”. But that’s not all. A whole album is set to be released – with prominent guests.
Rapper LL Cool J (56) is finally starting his comeback with a new album. “The FORCE” is due to be released on September 6th – his first album in 11 years. He also released the pre-release single “Passion” today. A few weeks ago he already released the song “Saturday Night Special”.
With songs like “I Need Love” and “Mama Said Knock You Out,” LL Cool J was one of the pioneers of rap music in the late 80s and early 90s. He most recently released the album “Authentic” in 2013. He also released other individual songs until 2016.
The new album will be released exactly on the 40th anniversary of the label “Def Jam Recordings”, on which his first single “I Need a Beat” was released in 1984. LL Cool J’s comeback will feature well-known guests such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Nas and Busta Rhymes.
