Singer Adele will be giving concerts in Munich in August. In an interview, she talks about what she misses about the time when she wasn’t famous yet, but was just another girl.
The musician Adele is one of the most successful singers in the world and yet looks wistfully back to the time when she was not yet famous. In an interview with ZDF in London, she was asked what she missed about that time. Everything, the Briton replied. Most likely, being anonymous.
“I don’t like being famous,” Adele said. She loves making music – and that people are receptive to it and like her music. It’s unlikely that that would happen to anyone. But she hates being famous.
On the other hand, it’s pretty crazy that people are so interested in her voice and her songs, said the 36-year-old Brit. It’s worth it.

Adele will play several concerts in Munich in August
Adele has been performing in Las Vegas for a long time and will now be giving several concerts in Munich in August, where a special arena for 80,000 people is being built. With cameras and a large screen, the audience will be given the feeling that she is getting close to each of them, Adele said. She was recently at the European Championship semi-final in Dortmund to watch the match between England and the Netherlands.
There are currently no plans to release a new album. Her memory runs out pretty quickly and live performances are emotionally challenging, even when the concerts aren’t that big, she said. She can never give up singing and songwriting, but there is no new music for the time being.
In the interview, she was also shown a clip from the beginning of her career. To be honest, she had no idea what was going to happen – let alone what else could happen. “Those were the last few years in which I was just another girl in London.”
