For the first time, the ProSieben competition show “Beat the Star” featured a duel between married couples. Bushido and Anna-Maria Ferchichi competed against Wayne and Annemarie Carpendale – with success.
He is known among his fans for his harsh remarks, and on the ProSieben competition show “Schlag den Star” Bushido presented himself primarily as a competitor: On Saturday evening, the rapper, together with his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi, won against Wayne and Annemarie Carpendale.
At prime time (8:15 p.m.), the two couples duelled in various disciplines such as tug of war, piling beer mats into a castle and the classic “Blamieren oder kassieren”. After just over four hours, the Ferchichi couple were finally declared the winners – something they themselves were apparently most surprised about: “I’ve never won, never!” said a stunned Anna-Maria Ferchichi. Their triumph was rewarded with a suitcase full of cash: the Ferchichis received 100,000 euros.
Duel of the couples attracts audience
The couple mode was well received by the audience – ProSieben should be satisfied with the viewing figures: 1.2 million people in the target group aged 3 and over (8.5 percent market share) watched the sweating rapper as he lay on the floor and struggled for breath after the first round.
Bushdio lives in Dubai with his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi and their children. In March 2024, after a long break from concerts, he started his “King Forever!” tour in Berlin. Bushido had previously written that this would be his last tour. His latest album “King Forever” was released in May.
