Exceptional tenor Andrea Bocelli is celebrating his 30th stage anniversary in Italy. Many stars are travelling to Tuscany, including Will Smith.
According to a report, US actor Will Smith (55) will be on stage at the anniversary concert of the exceptional Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli (65) in Tuscany. We are proud to have this brilliant artist, celebrated actor, producer and musician as our guest, Bocelli announced on his Instagram account at the weekend.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the blind singer will celebrate his 30th stage anniversary at the Teatro del Silenzio in his hometown of Lajatico. In addition to Smith, other stars have been announced, including musician Ed Sheeran, actor Johnny Depp and Queen guitarist Bryan May. As the industry magazine “Entertainment Weekly” reported, the three-day event will be filmed by Sam Wrench and shown in cinemas in the autumn. Wrench also directed the Taylor Swift concert film “The Eras Tour”.
The tenor had his international breakthrough in 1996 with “Time to Say Goodbye” (in the Italian original: “Con te partirò”). Bocelli, who has been blind since he was twelve, sang the song with the English singer Sarah Brightman to say goodbye to the German boxing world champion Henry Maske. All in all, he has sold more than 85 million records to date.
