Lily Allen on David Harbour: Her husband seduced her with this trick

The American “Stranger Things” star David Harbour (49) was apparently able to win over his current wife Lily Allen (39) with his seductive skills on the third date. And this despite the fact that the singer did not know how to deal with such an offensive at first due to her British nature, as she tells her friend Miquita Oliver (40).

In the podcast episode, Allen says: “We went out a couple of times. We went out to dinner a couple of times and the third time I went out with him, we went to the theater to see the Lehman Trilogy. It’s a very long play, it’s in three parts, there are two intermissions,” the singer recalls. “I think it was in the first part of the play, the first third, when he just grabbed my hand and started stroking it – almost like his hand was sleeping with mine.”

It was “hot” in the theater

It was very intense, but she was very “English” in that moment and thought: “Oh my God, this person likes me – they want to be intimate with me.” Harbour then whispered in her ear: “Should we just get out of here?” It was really hard to get tickets for the play, but they just went anyway. “And the rest is history,” said Allen. She had never experienced anything like that before. “It’s not exactly British to take my hand and stroke it on the third date. And it was in an environment where I couldn’t say anything. It was hot.”

With their discussions on sensitive topics, the women regularly make it into the top ten of the British podcast charts.

Lily Allen has been married to David Harbour since September 2020; their relationship began in 2019. Her two daughters Ethel Mary (12) and Marnie Rose (11) come from her first marriage to Sam Cooper (46).
