The tension is rising for Mola Adebisi and his wife Adelina Zilai: the birth of their baby is scheduled to take place today, July 16.
Mola Adebisi (51) and his wife Adelina Zilai have to wait a little longer than expected for the birth of their first child. They originally had an appointment at the clinic on Monday, July 15th to induce labor. The former VIVA presenter had even equipped himself with a stretcher with the inscription “Daddy”. But then the couple had to return home empty-handed: “My baby is still in my belly,” Zilai reported in an Instagram story. The induction was postponed by one day to Tuesday, July 16th.
“No bed available”
On i, Zilai wrote with a picture from the waiting area: “Our trip to the hospital. It failed because there were no free beds.” But they are still taking it with humor and are “very chilled”. “It will of course be very exciting because we have to see how well and how quickly I react to the induction. It can go quickly or it can take a little while.” However, they hope and pray “that our angel will come soon”.
Engagement in Paris, wedding in Las Vegas
Adebisi has been in a relationship with Zilai, who is 14 years younger, since 2020. In 2021, the couple took part in the “Sommerhaus der Stars”. Shortly before the end of 2023, the presenter announced the engagement on the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In mid-January, the two then announced with a video clip that they would soon be parents. The baby was a “gift from God”. In February, they tied the knot in Las Vegas.
At a so-called gender reveal party a few weeks later, it was announced that they were expecting a boy. Adebisi was delighted: “It’s an incredibly beautiful feeling and the greatest happiness we could wish for and we’re looking forward to it. You can always add more. Now let’s bring the first little one into the world safely.”
