Actress Jessica Capshaw has four children with her husband. Before she became pregnant with her youngest daughter, however, she had a “deeply sad” experience, as she now reports.
“Grey’s Anatomy” star Jessica Capshaw (47) says she had a miscarriage before the birth of her fourth child. “I was so happy when I got pregnant and I never had any problems getting pregnant before,” the actress said in her podcast “Call It What It Is.” However, at an ultrasound appointment in the tenth week, there was no heartbeat.
The actress describes the situation as “very shocking and deeply sad” for her. At first she felt completely overwhelmed.
Capshaw, who plays doctor Arizona Robbins in the television series “Grey’s Anatomy,” has four children with her husband Christopher Gavigan. Her son is 16 years old and her three daughters are eight, twelve and 13 years old.
