DJ Tomcraft is dead. The well-known DJ and producer died on Monday at the age of only 49, as his family announced.
Mourning for the musician Thomas Brückner (1975-2024), better known by his DJ name Tomcraft. Like Brückner’s family on Tuesday (July 16), the DJ and producer died on July 15. A cause of death is not mentioned in the post. He was 49 years old.

“It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that yesterday, July 15, 2024, our beloved father and husband passed away,” the family statement said. And continued: “We will carry you in our hearts forever and love you until we are reunited.”
DJ Tomcraft first rose to fame in the mid-1990s. He released his first record, “This is No House,” in 1995. His biggest hit, “Loneliness,” dates back to 2002 and made it to the top of the charts in Great Britain. He released a total of four albums in his life. They all came out within a period of just six years. At the legendary Berlin Love Parade in 2003, he played in front of 1.3 million people.
His friend and companion Westbam (59), also a pioneer of electronic music in the 1990s, said: “Our good friend DJ Tomcraft has passed away at the age of only 49. […] It’s really heartbreaking. Rest in peace, brother.”
