Louis Klamroth and Peter Lohmeyer: Father-son trip to the film premiere

Louis Klamroth and his father, Peter Lohmeyer, walked the red carpet together at a film premiere in Berlin.

Presenter Louis Klamroth (34) accompanied his father, actor Peter Lohmeyer (62), to the red carpet in Berlin for the premiere of his new film “Die ermittelt” (cinema release: July 25). The two made their joint appearance in decidedly casual clothing. Papa Lohmeyer wore a dark blue blouson with grey trousers and a grey T-shirt. His son combined a beige sweater with olive green trousers. What the two had in common in terms of outfits were the white sneakers.

Father and son three times together in front of the camera

Louis Klamroth, born in Hamburg, is the result of his father’s long-term relationship with camera assistant Katrin Klamroth. He grew up with several siblings. The father-son duo have appeared together three times in front of the camera in “Der Mistkerl” (2001), “Das Wunder von Bern” (2003) and “Schenk mir dein Herz” (2010).

They have also visited red carpets together on several occasions. For example, at the producers’ festival of the Alliance of German Producers Film & Television eV in July 2023 in the Tipi at the Chancellery in Berlin, at the Berlin Opening Night by Gala & UFA in February 2020 in Berlin or at the premiere of “Lindenberg! Do your thing” in early 2020 in Berlin.

From 2016, Louis Klamroth concentrated on presenting. At the beginning of 2023, he replaced Frank Plasberg (67) as presenter of the talk show “hart aber fair” (Das Erste).

Film adaptation of the play “The Investigation”

Acting star Peter Lohmeyer can be seen in “The Investigation” alongside well-known colleagues, including: Rainer Bock, Bernhard Schütz, Clemens Schick, Nicolette Krebitz, Karl Markovics, Christiane Paul, Andreas Pietschmann, Peter Schneider, Tom Wlaschiha and many more.

The film is based on the play of the same name by the German-Swedish author Peter Weiss (1916-1982) from 1965, which he developed with the help of personal notes, newspaper articles and protocols. The focus is on the Frankfurt Auschwitz trial, which took place from 1963 to 1965.

The courtroom drama celebrated its world premiere in June at the Munich Film Festival.
