Patrice Aminati gives cancer update: metastases in numerous organs

She seems incredibly brave. In April last year, Patrice Aminati announced that she had melanoma and that it had already metastasized. Since then, the wife of presenter Daniel Aminati has been battling the disease. She recently revealed that treatment had not worked, then at the beginning of the week there was a glimmer of hope: a metastasis on her skin had receded, according to the mother of a young daughter.

Now she has given a detailed health update on Instagram. When a fan asked her about her metastases, Aminati answered openly. “From the primary tumor on the neck,” the cancer had spread to various organs: the lymph nodes, the lungs, the brain, the eyes, the bones, the liver, the adrenal glands and the skin.

Aminati and her doctors are fighting the insidious disease with immunotherapy and targeted radiation. However, the side effects of the therapy are severe. She suffers most from gastrointestinal problems, which have already required her to be hospitalized several times.

She “hopes and prays” for a cure, says Aminati. “Cancer research is constantly evolving, there are more and more possibilities,” she says on the platform. Her doctors have also always believed in a cure. But she has also received devastating news. “However, a doctor has already told me that I will not live to see Christmas,” admits the 29-year-old. A subscriber then asks whether she sometimes wonders why it has happened to her. Aminati then shows herself combative again. “No,” she writes. “Each of us has a burden to bear. And this is my task now,” she says.

Daniel Aminati and Patrice announced their engagement in April 2021, and the wedding followed a year later. Their daughter Charly Malika was born in August 2022.
