Alexander Zverev has started a podcast with his brother Mischa. These celebrities will be there to welcome you.
The German tennis star Alexander Zverev (27) has started his own podcast. The boyfriend of Sophia Thomalla (34) sits behind the microphone for “A to Z” together with his brother and manager Mischa (36). This was announced.
“I am happy to announce my new podcast ‘A to Z’ with my co-pilot Mischa Zverev,” writes the tennis ace. They plan to talk about pop culture, welcome famous guests and, of course, the sport of tennis. According to a press release, the podcast is available on the usual platforms, but the whole thing can be seen in video form exclusively on the streaming provider Tennis Channel under the title “The AZ video podcast with Sascha and Mischa Zverev.”
Boris Becker, the Geissens and other star guests
In the first episode, the two will welcome none other than German tennis legend Boris Becker (56). According to the announcement, other planned celebrity guests have already been confirmed. They include football pro Breel Embolo (27), his colleague Ismail Jakobs (24), hit-guarantor DJ Ötzi (53) and reality star Robert Geiss (60) and his wife Carmen (59).
“I wanted to do a project like this for myself because I have had a great interest in talk shows for a long time,” Alexander Zverev is quoted as saying. “I have always found the medium of television exciting. So the video podcast is a flexible alternative for me to combine the world of tennis with my interest in good interviews.”
His brother Mischa adds that they want to have a “relaxed chat” with the guests. And he continues: “Current events are not the main focus. We will also meet actors, musicians and politicians who are interested in us and the format.” The brothers are planning ten to twelve episodes this year.
