Angelina Jolie (49) is reportedly no longer interested in continuing the war of roses with her ex-husband Brad Pitt (60). The actors are still fighting over the winery, in which they had an equal share until 2021. Jolie’s legal counsel Paul Murphy claimed that Pitt has long had full control over all joint properties and the proceeds from them. “But he is still demanding more and is suing Angelina for $67 million plus punitive damages,” Murphy explained.

Brad Pitt’s aim with the lawsuit is therefore only to “punish and control Angelina,” the lawyer claims. She, on the other hand, has long been yearning for peace and is only compelled to act: “While Angelina again asks Mr. Pitt to end the dispute and finally put her family on a clear path to healing, she has no choice but to obtain the necessary evidence to refute his accusations.”

The dispute over the winery has been going on for several years. In 2021, Angelina Jolie allegedly sold her shares in her winery in the south of France to a Russian billionaire, after which her ex filed a lawsuit. The sale was made without his consent and violated the agreement that he could buy up her shares, according to US media.
From Jolie’s perspective, the story is reportedly different: Brad Pitt rejected her shares after she refused to sign a comprehensive confidentiality agreement. She, in turn, demanded 250 million in compensation, according to rumors.
