Anyone who only knows Daniel Craig as James Bond may now be surprised

There’s an actor who can always surprise us: Craig, Daniel Craig. When we finally believed him as the British secret agent, he simply breaks up with us. And now he’s a model.

Daniel Craig has proven in each of his films that the actor with the incredibly blue eyes is versatile. But he is currently showing the latest version of himself in a campaign for the luxury fashion house Loewe. His hair is long and parted deep to the side, his belt is open in his jeans and he is wearing a patterned wool sweater.

The confident pose, in which one could mistake him for a simple guy, means that one has to look a second time to realize: Yes, it is he who is presenting the collection for autumn/winter 2024.

After Daniel Craig surprised many James Bond fans as an agent in Her Majesty’s Secret Service – until 2006, few could have imagined him following in the footsteps of 007 actors such as Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan – he can now show a different side of himself: the fool that many people thought he was at the time. Craig struggled with the role of James Bond, and had to be persuaded with all his might and a lot of money to take on his last appearance in “No Time to Die”. Now it’s time to say goodbye to tuxedos, bow ties and good manners.

Daniel Craig can do it

The “ZDF heute-show” found an interesting approach to present the actor’s versatility. They had him appear as a politician for the largest parties. Here too, Craig is credible in every role. Whether in a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt and a matching, subtly patterned tie for the CDU, as a stressed SPD man in unironed clothes and a teacher’s bag slung over his shoulder, with his chest puffed out in front of a big car for the FDP or with a furtive look and (another) wool sweater for the Greens – he is convincing for every party.

The fact that the actor is doing advertising despite his crazy salaries is not due to a lack of new film offers. It was just announced that he will return in “Knives Out 3”.
