Lindsay Lohan congratulated her son on his birthday on Instagram. The actress was full of enthusiasm.
Lindsay Lohan (38) has celebrated a special milestone in her life: son Luai is now one year old. The actress wrote exuberantly: “Happy Birthday, my Luai. You are 1! I love you more than anything else in this world. My son, my baby, my heart, my everything. I love you always, forever and ever and beyond!”

She also provided a glimpse into her son’s birthday party with pictures. A cake with a car racing motif in blue and black and white shows her son’s name as well as a modeled car with the number one and checkered flags. Another photo shows cookies that match the theme, which were apparently also at the birthday party. In Instagram stories, she also reveals that numerous balloons and a white bouncy castle in the garden were part of the celebration.
In mid-July last year, a spokesperson for the actress confirmed that Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas (37) had had their first child together. The spokesperson also told People magazine, among others, what the boy’s name was: “Lindsay Lohan and her […] Husband, Bader Shammas, have welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai into the world.” The little family is “overjoyed and in love.” The name is Arabic and means “shield or protector” and Luai was born in Dubai.
Things are going well for Lohan, not only in her private life but also professionally. On Thursday (July 18), she was spotted on the set of “Freaky Friday 2” in Los Angeles with co-star Jamie Lee Curtis (65). The sequel to the cult film “Freaky Friday” is set to hit theaters in 2025. It is not yet known what will happen to psychotherapist Tess Coleman (Curtis) and daughter Anna (Lohan) in the sequel. Lohan revealed that her role is now the mother of her own daughter and that she has taken guitar lessons for the second part. Actor Chad Michael Murray (42), who played the seductive swashbuckler Jake in part one, is also in the second film.
