Telefe’s new show, “Survivor, Expedición Robinson,” is facing a worrying drop in its ratings less than a month after being broadcast on Argentine television.

In its first program, the reality show debuted with 13.2 rating points and a 63.49% share, leading its time slot. However, the audience decreased considerably in the following days.

Looking at the spreadsheets, the channel’s executives observed how the numbers dropped to 9.8 points, being overcome by “Perfect Escape” by Iván de Pineda by one tenth.

Even though the program has a high-quality production and an impressive setting in Colombia, so many of the participants and the dynamics of the reality show still seem to have failed to capture the public’s attention in the same way as Big Brother.

This downward trend in audiences has caused concern at Telefe, which will have to look for a change if it wants to maintain its ratings lead.
