Ralf Schumacher once again lets his followers share in his happiness. His son was also there for a meal with his friend.
After his coming out and his first public appearance with his partner Étienne as a couple, Ralf Schumacher (49) is delighting his followers. The former racing driver published a snapshot of a meal in a Cologne restaurant, where he was accompanied by his friend and his son David (22), among others.
The first snapshot of the two together since Schumacher’s coming out shows how happy the group seems to be with each other. In the comments, fans say things like: “It’s great to see that you’re doing so well, finally together, that’s how it should be” and “You can just tell that Ralf has settled in and is happy.”
On July 14, Ralf Schumacher also made his love for a man public via Instagram. He wrote on his photo with his partner Étienne: “The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.”
“I’m 100 percent behind you”
His son David, who comes from his marriage to Cora Schumacher (47) and is also a racing driver, commented on the post: “I am very happy that you have finally found someone with whom you can really see that you feel very comfortable and secure, regardless of whether they are a man or a woman, I am 100 percent behind you, Dad, and wish you all the best and congratulations.”
According to media reports, Ralf Schumacher had a small premiere last weekend: Étienne accompanied him to the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday (21 July) – there the two appeared together in public as a couple for the first time. The ex-racing driver was working as a presenter and expert for Sky.
Happiness in love after a failed marriage
The former Formula 1 star married Cora Schumacher in 2001, and the couple divorced in 2015. Schumacher has apparently been happy with Étienne for a long time. Carmen Geiss (59) revealed this in her comment on the coming-out post: “After two years, you can finally show your love to the world,” the 59-year-old said happily for the two.
