Seven years ago, there was a major falling out between Winfried Glatzeder and Henry Hübchen. Now the two have apparently reconciled.
Actor Winfried Glatzeder (79) has apparently made up with his colleague Henry Hübchen (77) after seven years. In 2017, the two are said to have had a falling out on the set of their film “The Scouts of Peace”. Now they are back in front of the camera together for the sequel – and apparently peacefully. “It was all good. Professional and downright nice,” Glatzeder told the magazine “Superillu”.
But he can’t quite resist making a hint: “That was certainly also because Henry was very preoccupied with himself and was constantly looking at his cell phone to check his appearance,” says Glatzeder. “Scouts of Peace 2” will be released in German cinemas in January 2025. Will the two squabblers appear together at the premiere?

From August 16th he can be seen on RTL in “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. Ten years after his first attempt in the Australian jungle camp in 2014, the actor took on the challenge again in the summer special together with a dozen other former jungle stars. The episodes have already been filmed.
Glatzeder looks back on his participation with some disillusionment: “I had planned to make it a mixture of fasting and the Way of St. James for myself,” he said in an interview with “Superillu”. “Unfortunately, the pounds I lost have come back. And I didn’t find myself, instead I discovered other terrible facets of myself…” In 2014, the actor was given the nickname “Wutfried” in the eighth season because he was always clashing with his fellow contestants.
So why the renewed participation – and as the oldest candidate ever? Among other things, the possible prize money of 100,000 euros: “My children need money and I need confirmation that at the age of eighty I can be the oldest participant in a super format.” The actor has been married since 1970 and has two sons from this marriage, as well as a son from a previous relationship.
