The world visits friends, two fans visit Philipp Lahm: The football icon rents out his villa on Lake Tegernsee via Airbnb.
Former football star Philipp Lahm (40) is renting out his dream villa on Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria via the online platform Airbnb. Two guests have the unique opportunity to spend the night of October 18-19, 2024 in the house of the 2014 world champion. Cost: 21 euros as a reminiscence of his former shirt number at FC Bayern Munich.
“I am delighted to open the doors of our house on Lake Tegernsee and invite guests to experience this special place where we love to spend time with family and friends,” said former Bayern star Lahm about his extraordinary offer. He can hardly wait to share the cozy atmosphere of his house and offer his guests a unique experience, continued the Munich native.
After the night in Philipp Lahm’s house, we head to the stadium
The guests will be personally greeted by Philipp Lahm on their arrival and will also receive two jerseys signed by him as a special souvenir. A professional chef will also prepare a Bavarian-inspired dinner on the day of arrival. After checking out the following day, the guests of the European Championship tournament director will go to the Allianz Arena for the Bundesliga match between record champions FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart.
On August 7, 2024, at 6 p.m., the booking option will be activated at airbnb.com/philipplahm and football fans can leave their request there. Minimal restriction for Philipp Lahm’s all-round carefree package: Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from Lake Tegernsee and to and from the stadium in Munich.
The rental platform Airbnb has already used creative advertising campaigns on several occasions. For example, last summer it briefly offered the “Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse” in California – a luxurious, pink villa in the “Barbie” style, to coincide with the film’s release.
