Marc Terenzi on separation from Verena Kerth: “Sometimes it’s better to leave”

Verena Kerth (43) confirmed on Thursday (July 25) that she and singer Marc Terenzi (46) are no longer a couple. “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. That’s true. Marc and I obviously had a hard time and haven’t been a couple for a long time,” the presenter wrote in a statement in her Instagram story. She had kept quiet about the end of the relationship for a long time because she needed some distance “to regroup. The past two years have been a crazy rollercoaster ride that has taken a lot out of me psychologically.” Marc Terenzi now describes his view of things.

“I don’t want to say anything bad about my relationships or ex-partners, but: Yes, it’s true – I split up with Verena about two months ago,” says the 46-year-old. The musician did not comment specifically on the reasons for the split and only explained that he went to Magdeburg and did his shows there. “I had my people who helped me too. Sometimes it’s just better to go and split up.”

Terenzi says he took time for himself after the breakup, just like his ex-partner Verena Kerth. He had to find himself again, “because I haven’t been myself for two years,” says the singer. Now he’s looking forward and has great new projects ahead of him. Life always has a lot in store for you and he’s now looking forward again. “I firmly believe that there is always a better way, no matter how hard life is right now.”

The presenter and the singer have been friends for over 20 years, but it wasn’t until later that they hit it off. After being eliminated from the jungle camp in 2023, Terenzi proposed to the Munich native. After a “fake wedding” in Las Vegas, a real wedding was to follow this year.
