The two leading actors supported Kevin Feige (51) yesterday. The mastermind of the MCU received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday as the 2785th star.

As a joke, Hugh Jackman gave Kevin Feige a $15 steakhouse voucher at the ceremony. The Australian was referring to his first meeting with the honoree, as he revealed in his speech. Jackman met Feige during the casting for the first “X-Men” film in 2000.
The latter was working as a production assistant at the time and drove Jackman to the airport after the audition. There he insisted that the actor get something to eat before his flight. “He just insisted and said: ‘I want to give you a steak,'” recalled Jackman, who was not yet a star at the time. “So we went to this steakhouse and, you know, I’m an actor. I’m in, the steak is free.” Now the Wolverine mime returned the favor with a voucher.
How Kevin Feige became the mastermind of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Kevin Feige has been involved in various roles in almost every film since “X-Men” that brings characters from the Marvel comics to the screen. In 2006, Marvel Studios named him President of Production. This made him the boss of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which started in 2008 with “Iron Man”. In 2019, Marvel promoted him to Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment. This means that he is responsible not only for films, but also for comics and TV series.
