The bond with the leader of Soda Stereo allowed him to play with that band and share other projects such as Ocio and Roken (the latter also included the keyboardist and singer Leandro Fresco).

On his Instagram, Fresco fired him by writing “Dear friend, I know that right now you are making music together with we already know who, what is certain, we will see each other again, thanks for everything Fla. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace”.

For her part, Lisa Cerati, Gustavo’s daughter, noted in an Instagram story: “I have too many beautiful memories with you. I hope you meet my father again and make even more incredible music for non-humans. Wherever they are.”

Benito, Cerati’s other son, used his Facebook account from where he expressed: “Flavius, how sad your departure makes me. Thank you for making the best music we have and for being a beautiful person.”

The artist born in Buenos Aires in 1969 under the full name of Flavio Lucio Máximo Fernández Etcheto, also cultivated the illustration of children’s stories (work that he assumed signing as Lucio Fernández).
