The last German concert of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour once again attracted crowds to Munich’s Olympic Park on Sunday evening.
Taylor Swift surprised her fans with a special musical treat at her second Munich show on July 28th, which was also her last in Germany. As part of the “Secret Songs” section, she performed the song “Don’t You” from her album “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” live for the first time. She also continued to attract international attention with a full Olympiaberg – and hinted at a return to Germany.
The song “Don’t You” was released in 2021 when Swift re-released her then 13-year-old second album “Fearless” and added new songs to the mix. The US superstar thus gave the tens of thousands of visitors a very special highlight. The weather also played along on Sunday evening: after pouring rain during the day, the clouds cleared as Swift’s performance approached.

It wasn’t just in the Olympic Stadium that 74,000 fans were waiting eagerly: just like on Saturday, the crowds of fans had also gathered on the neighboring Olympic Hill. The photos of the people sitting close together on the hill went around the world – international media reported on “Taylmountain” and “Tayhill”. Around 28,000 people are said to have watched the concert from there on Sunday evening for free, according to reports from the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”. Another 12,000 people are said to have gathered in the adjacent areas of the Olympic Park.

Swift herself also expressly welcomed these onlookers at the beginning of her performance: “We are happy to be able to play this show for 74,000 people in the stadium and – if the reports are correct – 50,000 wonderful people outside the stadium.” She also expressed hope that we would see her again in Germany: “We will be back in a few years.” On Saturday in Munich she had already stressed: “We can all agree that I have performed in Germany too rarely.”
As part of her Eras tour, Taylor Swift previously performed in Gelsenkirchen and Hamburg. In August there will be further stops in Warsaw, Vienna and London. After the end of her European concerts, she will take a short break from the tour. In October she will then continue in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver.
