Scarlett Johansson’s husband Colin Jost: Bloody toes during Olympics

Colin Jost is not competing at the Olympics as an athlete, but as a commentator. Despite this, Scarlett Johansson’s husband was injured.

Colin Jost (42) was injured during his participation in the Olympic Games. And no, the husband of Scarlett Johansson (39) did not compete as an athlete. The comedian reports for the US broadcaster NBC from the surfing competitions that are taking place in the French overseas territory of Tahiti.

The “Saturday Night Live” star even went into the water himself – and got to know a reef. He posted a picture of his left foot on Instagram. “You know things are going well when you’ve been in the Olympic medical tent more often than the athletes,” he wrote with the picture.

The injury is already a few days old. Colin Jost shows his battered foot. The wounds were still fresh, the toes full of blood.

“This could ruin my WikiFeet score”

“This might ruin my WikiFeet score, but I just arrived in Tahiti for the Surfing Olympics and the reef was thrilled to greet me,” the comedian commented on his post. Jost was referring to a website that rates celebrities’ feet. Scarlett Johansson, by the way, has a perfect rating of 5/5 on WikiFeet.

On NBC, Colin Jost explained how the injury came about. “It was going OK until the first wave, then I was standing on the coral reef,” he said, laughing. “Similar to a coral reef safety expert, but without coral shoes. So I got a little scratched.”

“Technically not a job”: Scarlett Johansson on Jost’s assignment

Colin Jost is an avid surfer, as his famous wife revealed on the TV show “Today”. “He loves surfing, we have a house in Montauk and he’s always out there surfing,” said Scarlett Johansson.

The actress was surprised when her husband was appointed as an Olympic commentator. She teased him when he complained about having to be on the road all the time in Tahiti. “I guess if you can drink a pina colada on air while you’re working, it’s not technically work,” she joked.
