Jack White announced the official release of his new surprise album, “No Name”which was briefly available in limited quantities at his Third Man Record stores earlier this month, in a plain white sleeve with no information beyond the title.

The official version will be released on Friday (August 2)and a blue vinyl edition will be available at Third Man Records stores on Thursday and at select independent record stores around the world the following day. It will also be available on black vinyl through the Third Man and Jack White websites.


The album was recorded, produced and mixed by White at his Third Man Studio during 2023 and 2024, pressed on vinyl at Third Man Pressing and released on Third Man Records.
The album, which created a wave of excitement when news of its existence spread on July 19, is the first straight rock album White has released since his former group, The White Stripeswas last performed in 2007.
