Football star Jonas Hofmann and sports presenter Laura Winter tied the knot in a dream wedding in Mallorca.
Jonas Hofmann (32) and his partner Laura Winter (35) have married. The Bayer 04 Leverkusen football player and the sports presenter celebrated a dream wedding in Mallorca and said “I do” in a finca in Binissalem in front of around 70 guests.
The bride shone in a white, tight-fitting lace dress with a deep V-neck. The groom slipped into a light beige suit set with a waistcoat, a white shirt and a white tie.
Jonas Hofmann: “We had a wonderful party”
“We had a wonderful celebration that I couldn’t have imagined being any better,” Hofmann enthused in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”. “Our family and closest friends all in one place was something very special for me.” As a professional footballer, he travels so much that he now appreciates intimate celebrations like this all the more.
Of course, some of the footballer’s famous colleagues were also there, including national goalkeeper Oliver Baumann (34) with his wife Charlotte and national player Niclas Füllkrug (31) with his Lisa. The bride was also overwhelmed by her dream wedding. She was particularly touched by the speeches of her father-in-law and those of her brothers, she told “Bunte”: “The tears rolled down her cheeks.”
Wedding follows sad stroke of fate
For Hofmann, this is already his second marriage; in 2021 he separated from his first wife Lena. In the same year, he made his relationship with the Sky presenter public. In November 2022, Hofmann and Winter announced their engagement, and they married in a civil ceremony in 2023. Last year, however, the couple suffered a serious blow of fate: the presenter suffered a miscarriage. But the grief over their unborn child has obviously brought the two even closer together.
