Cardi B (31) is about to start a new beginning. A spokesperson for the rapper not only confirms that she has filed for divorce from her husband Offset (32), who is also a rapper, but she also announces that she is expecting another child.
Alleged affairs not to blame for the divorce
The 31-year-old filed for divorce on July 31 after more than six years of marriage, as several US media outlets reported. A spokesman for Cardi B said that the fact that she has now filed the documents is not based on previous affair rumors, but has been discussed for a long time. A divorce was already on the table several years ago, but was later off the table.
Cardi B and Offset married in 2017 and have two children together – a six-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son. It was announced last December that Cardi B and Offset had separated.
