The successful German rapper Apache 207 (“Komet”) is packing his bags – at least in his new summer song. “Miami” is the name of the single with which Apache wants to make it back to the top of the charts. The new song once again shows new sides of the artist’s musical diversity, Sony Music announced on Friday when the single was released.
The 26-year-old was ready for a vacation after his arena tour in June. After a break and a trip to Ibiza, he is now back with catchy beats under palm trees. “Miami” is the rapper’s third single this year after “Loser” and “Wunder”. He is celebrating the new release with a few fans on Friday in Berlin.
The Mannheim native, whose real name is Volkan Yaman, is one of the most successful rappers in Germany. His hit “Roller” catapulted him to the top of the charts in 2019. His single “Komet”, which he released with Udo Lindenberg (78) in early 2023, is the number one hit that stayed at the top in Germany the longest. Last June, the musician released his third album “Gartenstadt”, which is named after a district of Ludwigshafen where he grew up.
