The model Adut Akech is pregnant. The fashion magazine “Vogue” published photos of Akech with a round baby bump. “I’ve always said that I want to be a young mother because I love the idea of growing up with my children,” the 24-year-old told the magazine.
Pregnancy is a “wonderful feeling, but a mental and physical rollercoaster,” the model explained. “Nothing really prepares you for it.” According to Vogue, Akech still has ten weeks of pregnancy left.
Akech, who was born in South Sudan and regularly appears at fashion weeks from Paris to New York and in global campaigns, also announced her pregnancy on Instagram. “Overjoyed, grateful and can’t wait to meet our little bundle of joy!!!”, wrote the 24-year-old. She received numerous congratulations under the post, including from top model Naomi Campbell. Akech’s partner Samuel Elkhier wrote: “Can’t wait to meet our little one!”
