John Travolta visited the Olympic Games with his daughter. Ella Travolta was inspired by Paris for her outfit.
Actor John Travolta (70) and his daughter Ella Bleu Travolta (24) did not miss the opportunity to get a taste of the Olympics, like many other stars before them. On Saturday (3 August) in the Bercy Arena, the two were able to watch as US gymnastics star Simone Biles (27) also shone on the vault and won another gold medal. While the arena in Paris was more sporty, the father-daughter duo opted for elegant outfits.
Accessory as an ode to Paris
The “Grease” star wore a dark blue jacket with a light blue pocket square and teamed it with a black turtleneck, jeans and a gold chain around his neck. He also posed for photographers outside the arena wearing black sunglasses. His daughter chose an elegant all-black look consisting of wide-leg trousers and a crop top with thin straps. A French-inspired black beret and a black handbag with a gold chain handle rounded off the look.
John Travolta’s daughter Ella Bleu comes from his marriage to his late wife Kelly Preston (1962-2020). Their children also include son Benjamin (13) and their late son Jett (1992-2009). Kelly Preston died of breast cancer in July 2020 at the age of 57. She had been married to John Travolta since 1991. Her son Jett died in January 2009 at the age of 16 while on vacation in the Bahamas after suffering a seizure.
Ella made it clear how close the bond between John Travolta and his daughter is on his 70th birthday on February 18th. She wrote on a commemorative photo of them together: “Happy birthday to the man who is always by my side and who always brings light and beauty into this world. I love you more than anything.” In mid-June she wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to my best friend, I love you so much, Dad.”
