Machine Gun Kelly (34) speaks openly about his alcohol problems. The rapper checked himself into rehab last year. He is now “completely sober,” he explained in a new episode of Bunnie Xo’s podcast “Dumb Blonde,” which was released on August 5. “I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t had anything to drink since last August.” It was the first time he had gone to rehab, “MGK,” whose real name is Colson Baker, continued. He used to turn to alcohol, marijuana, and pills.
“I forgive myself”
“Megan has certainly been a huge help in dealing with the mental withdrawal symptoms that come with drug withdrawal,” he said, also raving about his partner Megan Fox (38) and her support. He is aware that “this journey” will continue to be hard for him, “but I accept it and forgive myself.”
