TV celebrity Daniela Katzenberger is known to have a weakness for the color pink. She has probably overdone it. Her little daughter can’t stand the color anymore.
Reality star Daniela Katzenberger has a very special generational conflict with her daughter Sophia – the eight-year-old can no longer stand her mother’s favorite color. “My biggest nightmare has come true, Sophia hates pink,” says the 37-year-old in the new episodes of the reality soap “Daniela Katzenberger,” which returns to Vox on September 6th.
“I used to have a Princess Lillifee. Now she’s Eminem. She’s breaking my pink heart!” Katzenberger therefore blames himself: “Sometimes I think that I overdid it with the pink, that it’s now a hate.”
Katzenberger, who comes from Ludwigshafen, also talks about her new ambition in a Vox interview: “What viewers don’t know about me yet is that I’m also doing sports now, haha! After trying to conquer my inner demons for a long time and having to endure various magazine covers that repeatedly portrayed me as fat, I’ve finally managed to get into a routine.”
Daniela Katzenberger: “I just like being normal”
She lives with her husband Lucas and her daughter like “a completely normal family,” she continued. “With celebrity status, maybe, haha. But we don’t really do anything different in our everyday lives than other families. We take Sophia to school, I make sure that I can manage Lucas’s pile of laundry at home, and we go about our jobs. They may sometimes look a little different to other jobs, but I just like being normal.”
Vox once built Daniela Katzenberger up to be a TV star. The TV star still has fond memories of this time: “The absolute highlight was of course my trip to Los Angeles when I really wanted to be in Playboy – I may have been in LA again recently, but you’ll see that in the documentary. Then of course a lot of people talked for a long time about my tattooed eyebrows, which I still find amusing today.”
In 2015, the cult blonde moved her reality shows to RTLzwei. With the new season, Katzenberger is now returning to her old home channel.
