Influencer reports: Sido is said to have been thrown out of the restaurant – because of bad table manners

Watch out, Sido! Wash your hands before eating, keep your feet off the table and take your hat off: these are some of the usual table manners. Sido and his companions are said to have not followed one of these and were subsequently thrown out of the restaurant.

“My city, my district, my neighborhood, my area, my street, my home, my block,” raps Sido in one of his most famous songs, but apparently not “his restaurant.” Last weekend, there was an argument in the Berlin cult restaurant “Dicke Paula” in Tegel and the rapper was thrown out.

According to influencer “Blocki030”, whose real name is Daniel Kallweit, the rapper was also involved. He made the story public on social media. It was about the men at the table taking off their caps. This is the right thing to do at the dinner table according to old etiquette rules. The three men at the table were apparently asked to do this by the staff at “Fat Paula”, but instead of complying with the request, the situation is said to have escalated.

According to the landlady Gina Kahl-Reißner, who confirmed the incident to the “Tagesspiegel”, a heated discussion immediately broke out, which culminated in her being threatened to make the incident public. She herself did not recognize the rapper Sido at the table at that moment, and she did not say which of the three men threatened her. All three men were then thrown out of the restaurant.

Sido is said to have expressed his anger afterwards via voice messages

But influencer “Blocki030” put the threat into action. In a video, Kallweit was critical of the quality of the food at “Fat Paula”. He complained that the restaurant was dirty, the staff seemed overworked and that fresh food was only cooked once a week. He also accused the landlady of enriching herself, and he apparently felt that price increases were inappropriate. Sido was also said to have been outraged by the scandal and sent him several angry voice messages.

The landlady told the “Tagesspiegel” that there was no celebrity bonus and that the same table manners applied to every guest. Gina Kahl-Reißner continued: “The ‘Fat Paula’ is my living room. I cook according to my grandmother’s recipes from Thuringia, so my rules apply here – old-school rules, rules like grandma’s.” In addition, the ban on wearing caps in the “Fat Paula” is not new; the landlady even wrote a song about it last year.
