According to the IndieWire portal, the last episode of the HBO program garnered 8.9 million viewers in the US. last Sunday (August 4), when the season finale ended. This compares to 7.8 million viewers for the first episode of the season.
However, this was not comparable to the four episodes of the first season, which achieved higher viewing figures. The first season premiere had 10 million viewers, while the first season finale garnered 9.3 million viewers.

According to Variety, Ryan Condal, showrunner of the series, said that the third season was currently being written with plans to enter production in early 2025.
Asked about the length of the new season, he explained: “I haven’t had any conversations with HBO about that. I just hope that the cadence of the show, from a dramatic narrative perspective, remains the same going into season two.”
