First it was a goat, then elephants and now monkeys. In just three days, the mysterious street artist Banksy He has unveiled three new works in London, an unusual prolixity for him that has sparked much speculation.
The graffiti artist has not offered any explanation. He has simply claimed his works as usual on his Instagram account, although normally there are months between one and the next.
On Monday he appeared a goat hanging from a pipe on a wall in Richmond, west London, just below a CCTV camera.
On Tuesday they were Two elephants sticking their heads out of two windows boarded up on a facade in the Chelsea neighborhood.
And on Wednesday he revealed Three monkeys swinging from a railway bridge in Shoreditch, one of the trendy areas in the east of the capital.
In the last hour a new image was added, that of a wolf howling.

What’s behind the scenes of Banksy’s new works?
Is the enigmatic artist sending a message? Is it a criticism of the far-right riots that are shaking the United Kingdom? A form of support for the Palestinians? A reference to climate change or the Olympic Games?
“Banksy is trying to make us reflect on the ecological crisis,” Fawaz Gerges, a university professor who went to see the latest work, told AFP.
For him, it is another example of the importance of nature in his work, like the tree he painted a few months ago in the north of the British capital.
The sought-after artist, whose identity remains unknown, has repeatedly taken a stand in favour of political causes such as refugee rights and the environment.
Among viewers of his latest works, some saw a reference to the Gaza war because the goat reminded them of a gazelle typical of the Middle East and sometimes called the “Palestine gazelle” in English.
Others too They evoked a link with the Olympic Games currently underway in Paris..
Happy in front of the goat graffiti, the artist Daniel Lloyd-Morgan60, hopes Banksy will continue his series.
“I expect he will be painting four animals somewhere in London tomorrow,” he says.
