Did Till Lindemann announce his departure from Rammstein on Instagram? This question is currently causing excitement among fans. But a post from the band sounds different.
Rammstein front singer Till Lindemann caused speculation among his fans about his departure with a poem on his Instagram account. Lindemann posted a photo of himself in a lake and wrote under the title “Everything has its time”: “The past leaves wrinkles / better later than too late / when unfortunately it’s no longer possible / you should grab your hat and coat / and go out into the wide world.”
Some users showed solidarity with the 61-year-old, others feared that the lines heralded a departure from Rammstein. The band’s management did not initially comment on the matter when asked by dpa.
A few days ago, Rammstein thanked their fans for their support on Instagram after their tour. The “huge stadium tour” had indeed come to an end after 135 concerts. But “it’s not Rammstein. It’s not us. It’s not you. The journey continues,” the post continued.
Breaks and time outs are not unusual for the band. There were ten years between the albums “Liebe ist für alle da” and the untitled penultimate album.
